Most tax offices go quiet after April, right when the letters start showing up. We built our memberships so you are never on your own for the other eleven months.
You know the drill. You see your preparer once, in the spring. You re-explain your whole business from scratch. They file, they disappear, and if a question comes up in July, you are on your own. Nobody is watching the business but you.
That is the gap our memberships close. One flat monthly price, and a person who already knows your whole picture. Not just in April. All year.
And we work to keep it fair. By keeping our plans lean and letting you pay software providers directly, we hold the monthly fee you pay to Capps as reasonable as we can, so year-round help is something you can actually plan around.
Founding members: 14 spots
We are opening our membership to the first fourteen founding families and businesses. Once those spots are filled, or once November 1 passes, founding enrollment closes.
Here is the part that makes it pay off. Every monthly payment you make before November 1 goes straight toward your 2026 tax return. When we file, if anything is still owed, you are billed only the difference. After that, your monthly payments simply keep building toward your 2027 return. You are never paying twice. You are paying ahead on your own return, a little each month instead of one big bill.

Prefer to pay once a year? Starter and Growth can be paid annually for about two months free. Homestead is billed monthly so you always have a steady, predictable plan. Every plan includes Gather & Grow and stays month to month with no contract.
Concierge
Honesty, up front
This section exists on purpose. The single biggest fear people have about paying monthly is the hidden fee: the surprise charge for cleanup, for a report, for a call outside of standard hours. We kill that fear by saying out loud what each price does not cover, so there are no surprises. This is a trust move, not fine print.
1099 and W-2 filings
These are billed separately from your monthly plan. We quote them before filing season so there is no surprise.
Catch-up bookkeeping
If your books are behind when you join, a one-time cleanup and onboarding fee may apply. We look first and quote it before any work starts.
Software setup and fees
A one-time $125 setup gets your Zoho Books and Payroll started, including any migration. The monthly software fee is billed to you by Zoho directly, which helps keep your monthly membership fee reasonable.
Work beyond your plan
Anything outside your plan is billed at $75 an hour. We email you the moment you near your transaction limit or something falls outside your plan, and we never do more than two hours of extra work without your OK first.
If something falls outside your plan, we tell you the price before we do the work. Never after.
No lock-in
Every membership is month to month. No contract, no lock-in, no cancellation fee, no hoops.
We would rather keep you because you want to stay than because a contract makes you. If we are not earning it every month, you should be free to walk. That keeps us honest, and it keeps the relationship real.
One piece of plain fairness, both ways: if we file your tax return as part of your membership, we ask that you see the year through. If you leave earlier than that, the return is simply billed as a standalone return. No fine print, just the same deal we would want ourselves.
Already have a preparer?
Switching sounds like a hassle. It is not.
You are legally entitled to your own records, so the simplest path is to bring us your full prior-year return, and your supporting records if you have them. If you are missing a full copy of a past return, you have every right to request one. We set you up from there. No awkward conversations, and in a small town, we keep everything quiet and professional.
The best time to make the move is a quiet stretch, like summer or fall, so everything is set up right before your first tax season with us.
Every month
Gather & Grow is our monthly learning and networking session for local owners. Real, useful topics, in plain language, plus a chance to meet other business people in the county before tax season ever comes up.
It is included in every membership. If you are not a member, you are still welcome to come for $20 per session.
